ENGINEER, SERVICE

Description

Assist in the maintenance of plant and machinery's to ensure reliability and minimize breakdown. Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all electronic & electrical equipment and apparatus to ensure that they are properly installed and safe to oper

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Initiate and follow-up preventive maintenance programs to ensure proper operation, maintenance and servicing of all plant facilities and M&E equipment.
2. Carry out routine inspection and servicing of the company's mechanical/electrical installation and machinery's and plant facilities.
3. Attend to complaints from users and make necessary adjustment to correct any malfunctioning.
4. Ensure that all electrical installations comply with the requirements of the department and electrical inspectorate of Malaysia and safety is prevailed.
5. Monitor and prepare Technician performance reports, work requisition notes report and other daily factory facilities reports.
6. To assist and monitor the electrical switchboard with consultants and TNB. Supervise major repairs performed by electrical contractors/suppliers.
7. Organization of staff/manpower and responsible for work distribution, setting out routine work programs, housekeeping, staff training and development.
8. Monitor and recommend purchases of spare parts.
9. Maintenance and updating of logbook.
Participate in design of machine facilities.

Education

Minimum Diploma / Degree major in Mechanical & Electrical engineering or equivalent

Experience

Minimum 2-5 years of working experience in related field. Good technical knowledge and practical skills Computer knowledge in Excel, Word and Power Point Installation/ assembly machine knowledge. Mechanical & Electrical knowledge.
