Delegating responsibilities and supervising departmental operations.2. Hiring, training, motivating and coaching engineers to provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assessing their performance and providing helpful feedback and identifying training needs.3. Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and departmental staff.4. Assessing current best practices and developing more effective or efficient processes and strategies.5. Establishing and achieving departmental and profit objectives.6. Generating reports and presenting information to upper-level managers7.
