Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Equipment

Duties and responsibilities

• Conduct troubleshooting of equipment failure on production lines.
• Suggest changes in working methods or operation sequences in order to improve efficiency.
• Document standard operating procedures, training and certification specifications as well as causes of equipment failure.
• The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Professional competencies

• Working experience in medical highly automated assembly machines for 3 years and above. (Pneumatic system, robotic, or electrical).
• Good experience in handling and maintaining feeder systems especially linear, bowl and centrifugal systems.
• Working knowledged with Pneumatic (Festo and SMC), Motors and Drive system especially Begerlahr and Schieder Electric models.
• Experience in handling projects of uplifting obseleted pneumatic and electerical components.
• It will be added advantage if experienced in handling Industrial 6 axis (advance) or Scara Robots namely Mitsubishi, Yamaha or Staubli.
• Exposure in using 8D Problem Solving.
• Experience in developing training modules.
• Experience in technical skill development for technicians level.
