Carry out health, safety, and environment audits on the site operations to assess conformity and effectiveness of company\'s Health, Safety and Environment policies.
Prepare and execute the approved implementation schedule for the employees and workers.
Assist in the drafting of Safety Plan as well as Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and provide guidelines and arrange safety talks to increase awareness on the importance of Health, Safety and Environment policies of workplace.
Prepare monthly reports according to schedule.
Carry out regular risk assessment at project site.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant government officials (e.g. DOSH, DOE) to identify and resolve health, safety and environment issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Possess a degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
Knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment requirements and compliances within the industry will be an added advantage.
Well-versed in OSHA 1994, FMA (Amendment) 2006, EQA 1974, and other related requirements.
Familiar with relevant international and Malaysian management systems standards (i.e. MS 1722, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001).
Ready to be stationed at Kuching, Sarawak.
