Meanwhile, Sika leads the field in total bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection solutions for bus, truck and rail vehicle manufacturing, and for the assembly of appliances, industrial equipment and building components. Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd currently employs more than 340 people in Sales & Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, HR & Administration, Laboratory, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehouse. Ensure that all company tools and equipment are kept in good operational condition. Oversee performance of necessary maintenance for PTP Yard and offshore equipment. Manage routine inspection on all machinery as per the schedule and non-scheduled maintenance. Establish and implement a preventive maintenance schedule including management of routine calibration of equipment as necessary. Manage documentation of daily/ weekly / monthly maintenance checklist. Ensure the safety rules are maintained according to the regulations Perform any other duties or undertake additional roles from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by the management. Coordinate local contractors in terms of quotations and activities as required to support service activities. Help train offshore crew in equipment operation if required and support trial activities as required. Update asset database with equipment updates and movements. Support offshore team in the delivery of projects if required. Manage equipment storage and designated workshop area. Support Offshore ISO documentation and Standard Operating Procedures. Manage Equipment documentation library. Qualifications Min Professional certificate / SKM or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalen Additional Information Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia Min 10 years working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferably in the manufacturing or offshore industry Able to work independently with minimum supervision Must be computer literate and able to operate MS Office applications Able to perform overtime as and when necessary and travel as required Based in Malaysia Johor Bahru
