Key Responsibilities:

Estimation and Cost Analysis

Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical systems and M&E projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Perform quantity take-offs based on project drawings and technical specifications. Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness and reliability. Conduct feasibility and cost-risk analyses for new tenders.

Tendering and Proposal Preparation

Prepare and submit quotations, tender documents, and technical proposals. Attend tender briefings, perform site surveys, and gather site-specific data. Coordinate and contribute to technical clarifications and presentations for clients.

Technical Support and Documentation

Provide technical input and clarification throughout the tendering and execution stages. Assist in preparing procurement strategies and tender documentation. Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing data

Project Coordination and Collaboration

Work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure alignment with cost and scope. Participate in internal coordination meetings to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Monitor and support cost control during project execution.

Vendor and Subcontractor Management

Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure that selected partners meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations. Customer and Internal Stakeholder Engagement Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support business development efforts, especially within non-Japanese sectors. Verify sales contents, quotations, and PO values to ensure alignment with estimates and client expectations. Support in CIDB reporting and other compliance-related documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in estimation or cost engineering within Electrical or M&E construction sectors. Technical Expertise: o Proficiency in high-voltage systems (33kV & 11kV), cable sizing, lighting design, and ELV systems (PA, BAS, CCTV, etc.).o Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and specifications. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Malaysian building codes and electrical regulations. Skills: Analytical thinking, attention to detail, strong communication, and collaboration skills. Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimation software/tools is advantageous.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
