Job Description


Job Responsibilities:Accounting Record Management

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts, including checking and processing subcontractors\' certificates, invoices, miscellaneous bills for payment, and internal debit advices.
  • Assist with the consolidation of accounts with HQ accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare payment vouchers and issue debit/credit notes/cheques, for invoices that are due for payment, including arranging for authorised signatories, and releasing cheques to payees.
  • Assist with updating payment schedules in order to avoid double payments.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of accounting records with suppliers and bank statements, and report discrepancies, if any.
  • Check monthly petty cash and travelling claims, and arrange for petty cash disbursements and reimbursements.
Administration Duties
  • Prepare applications for Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, Bankers Acceptances, etc.
External Liaison
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, suppliers, sub-contractors and any other relevant parties to reconcile accounting records when necessary
People Management
  • Assist new staff when required.

  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as defined in the Company\'s Quality System to demonstrate Risk Base Thinking and Performance Base Approach in all undertaking and to ensure achievement of intended results.
Health, Safety and Environment Compliance
  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as defined in the Company\'s Health, Safety and Environment Requirement to demonstrate Risk Base Thinking and Performance Base Approach in all undertaking and to ensure achievement of intended results.
Job Requirements:
  • SPM/Diploma/Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of software such as MS Office.
  • Possess basic knowledge of bookkeeping.
  • Possess a positive working attitude and excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of integrity.
