Job Description


Event/Campaign Management

  • Planning & timely execution of various communications initiatives, events and projects, ensuring effective implementation of strategies to increase share of voice, build on community relations, obtain positive press coverage, and generate additional income.
  • To execute the utilization of the A&P Fund through approved marketing events and activities, monitoring its effective use in meeting the agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. briefs, timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets).
  • Source for quotations/tenderers, make comparisons, and propose a suitable recommendation in line with the marketing budget for MM/SM/GM/SGM approval.
  • Coordinating venue management, caterers, agencies, contractors, and equipment hire.
  • Planning event layouts and the entertainment program, scheduling workshops and demonstrations/activities.
  • Coordinating and liaising with suppliers for the approval of work permits, safety briefing, PE endorsement insurance coverage (public liability, workmen compensation, contractor all risk).
  • Liaising with agencies and designers to create a brand for the event and organizing the production of collaterals and communications items.
  • Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders).
Campaign Execution
  • Support SE Events to coordinate and monitor overall retailers, external/internal stakeholder project/event planning, datelines, execution, and site coordination
  • Liaise with retailers, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders to identify their requirements and expectations for each event or project.
  • Prepare relevant approval documents and communications to respective stakeholders
  • Liaise with Marcomm/PR for digital marketing support
Retailers Promotions
  • Work with retailers, external/internal stakeholders to curate suitable promo/deals to support MAHB overall initiatives such as ASQ, LIMA, International Delegates
Key Challenges
  • Managing the work quality and timeliness of agency and vendor deliverables
  • Getting the support and buy in from internal and external stakeholders towards the planned activities
  • Securing budget and management approval on the planned activities whilst ensuring ROI
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in advertising, marketing, event management. Experience in travel retail/retail/shopping mall is an added advantage
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing/Advertising/Mass Communications/Business Management/Business Admin or equivalent
