Job Purpose

• Ensuring timely and quality facilities management of IGCC to the satisfaction of all stakeholder and maintain good customer service.
• To ensure cost effectiveness of property maintenance and upkeep land and building
• To ensure safety to employee, club members, visitors and others with regards to the building and operational facility.
• To provide leadership in managing a team of executives, supervisors, technician, clerical staff and contractors always.
• Be responsible for planning and execution of approved budgets as per MPlan

Job Responsibilities

• To plan, organize, lead and control the facilities and housekeeping department in order to ensure that facilities management for the company are systematic and effective.
• To manage the total overall cleanliness and operation maintenance of Club facility.
• To ensure effective facilities management for the club with proper planning, preventative maintenance and good housekeeping to ensure that the system is in good condition at all times.
• Ensure compliance to local health, environment and safety laws and regulations pertaining to facility management and maintenance.
• Responsible in Mechanical & Electrical. HVAC and civil work at the club. Responsible for any follow up or repair work done by contractor
• To ensure repair, service and maintenance of machines and all equipment are carried out

Job Responsibilities (Con't)

• To oversee the facilities and housekeeping staff on daily work and ensure all work is carried out as per planned.
• To oversee service, repair and maintain electrical machines and equipment's used in the Club.
• To update the management via monthly operation reports, memos and other related documents.
• Ensure that enough notices are given to members before any facility is closed for renovations / modifications.
• To ensure that the clubhouse is free flies and rat problems
• To plan the club house and drink huts cleanliness activities done as per schedule.

Job Responsibilities (Con't)

• To ensure the pest control done regularly to control flies, rats, cockroaches, ants and termite.
• To oversee the changing room maintenances and cleanliness.
• To ensure the domestic waste collect as per schedule by the local authorities.

• Responsible for the overall success of operational and renovation of facilities management for IGCC.
• To increase the level of appreciation from all stakeholders to the building and improve value to the investment made by the company the property.
• To ensure the planning of design and monitoring of the daily operational matters are dealt with the highest level of professionalism while maintaining the integrity not just the operating unit but the whole Sime Darby Group image.
• The company and group policies and procedures are also to be monitored and at the same time the local government regulations are to be observed to maintain the highest level of quality required to match the standard set by the industry and the company.

Education/Professional Qualification

• Fresh graduates or graduates with about 3 years related experience.
• Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Professional Experience

• Experience working in hospitality industries
• Experience in preventive Maintenance system, Mechanical & Electrical system and HVAC system.
