SALARY RANGE : MYR 3100 - 4500

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

\xe2\xa6\x81 Assist in the preparation monthly management and financial reports for management and various stakeholders on a timely and accurate basis

\xe2\xa6\x81 Assist in analysing potential investment opportunities (from banking facilities to mergers and acquisitions) to maximise gains

\xe2\xa6\x81 Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets for the Group

\xe2\xa6\x81 Analyse monthly budgets vs actuals - provide meaningful feedback and propose corrective course of actions

\xe2\xa6\x81 Assist in preparation on month forecasts for the Group

\xe2\xa6\x81 Analyse monthly forecast vs actuals - provide meaningful feedback and propose corrective course of actions

\xe2\xa6\x81 Coordinate and ensure financial reporting of the subsidiaries are done timely and in accordance with applicable regulations

\xe2\xa6\x81 Providing technical expertise and advise on financial related matters for the Group

\xe2\xa6\x81 Assist in overall financial planning and cash flow management for the Group

\xe2\xa6\x81 Analyze financial reconciliation data, identify gaps and recommend areas for improvement

\xe2\xa6\x81 Implement and coordinate ad-hoc finance business initiatives (eg: driving digitalization to increase efficiency and accuracy of the finance process and reports)

\xe2\xa6\x81 Liaising and working closely with auditors, finance team and other stakeholders to ensure financial reporting is accurate

\xe2\xa6\x81 Ensure financial reporting are in compliance with financial reporting standards (IFRS and MFRS) and the applicable laws of the local authorities

\xe2\xa6\x81 Assist and support in strengthening and improving of finance internal control and processes across the Group

SKILLS
These are minimum-requirement skills and a \xe2\x80\x98must-have\xe2\x80\x99 for the role: (If any, otherwise you can skip)

\xe2\xa6\x81 Independently managing multiple stakeholders effectively
\xe2\xa6\x81 Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines

\xe2\xa6\x81 Strong team player

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

\xe2\xa6\x81 At least 1 year experience in the related field ( Commercial Finance )
\xe2\xa6\x81 Quick and resourceful in obtaining market and industry information and applying them to the analyse business impact
\xe2\xa6\x81 Worked closely with cross-functional business and enablers teams (business partnering)
