Job Responsibilities
01) Conduct necessary legal research to keep abreast of applicable laws and regulations, and ensure observance of Corporate Governance.
02) Provide legal support on the business activities of the Group as well as its related companies.
03) Assist superior in all legal matters including conveyance, corporate, advisory, litigation and dispute resolution for the Group as well as its related companies.
04) Vet, draft and provide legal opinion on agreements and other documents.
05) Monitor conveyancing files, litigation files and court processes.
06) Manage and coordinate with external lawyers and other third party advisors on company\'s legal matters.
07) Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
08) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
09) The scope of authority shall refer to the selected work process procedure / instruction.

Job Requirements
01) Candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent from reputable universities and be admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
02) Minimum 2 to 5 years\' post qualified experience in a legal firm and/or as an in house counsel.
03) Experienced in corporate, conveyancing and litigation matters.
04) Possess strong communication, analytical, drafting and research skills with pleasant personality and good work ethics.
05) Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Good command of written and spoken Mandarin will be an advantage.
06) Proactive, resourceful, innovative, and always strive for continuous improvement and able to work independently and as a team.
07) Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
08) Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
09) Pleasant personality and able to interact all level of people.
