• Provide support and advisory in both principal and technical aspects of GIS
• Develop, deploy, and administer the Enterprise GIS environment
• Develop vertical application on GIS platform to meet business needs
• Monitor performance and provide advice on infrastructure enhancements and upgrades as necessary. Evaluate capacity requirements for new or expanding deployments
• Keep up with new GIS technologies and recommend as innovative solutions when required
• Leverage Enterprise GIS system and related IT systems design to work within the organization
• Develop and deploy procedures and guidelines for the management of geospatial datasets and services as when required
• Conduct training to GIS users as when required
• Develop and implement data acquisition, validation, and verification techniques
• Provide support for Enterprise GIS applications and products
• Provide support including digital data extracts, maps and layouts and conversions
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams and departments to design, develop, validate, test, and deploy GIS components and applications as when required

• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to identify complex spatial challenges and enhance current GIS workflows

• Recognize and address challenges related to data quality, data integration, and interoperability in GIS projects
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and use GIS to translate them into workable solutions

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in GIS/Geoinformatics
• Possess valid driving license
• Knowledge of GIS concepts and fundamental is essential
• Knowledge in database development and design
• Experience in the use of relevant GIS software applications (SuperMap, QGIS, Esri)
• Skill in developing/writing functional applications on GIS platform
• Experience with GIS and skilled in working with electrical assets will be an added advantage
• Experience with LiDAR and Remote Sensing technology will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to empower users
• Strong analytical and interpretation skills
