  • Extensive involvement in FEL1 & before including Environmental & Social Screening (pre-ESIA).
  • Manage stakeholder engagements and execution of CSR initiatives earlier in the development cycle of Cascading Power Sources (CPS) and other new projects.
  • Lead & conduct community engagement and consultation for new projects, aligned with CSR strategies.
  • Provide on-the-ground support, conduct field surveys and analysis at new projects areas to gather data on potential affected communities.
  • Prepare for DG2 while embedding UNDRIP & UNSDGs Framework.
  • Program coordination and documentation. Frontliner on social aspect.
  • Coordinate community engagements and Organize CSR events and volunteer activities.
  • Support communication on new Cascading Power Sources (CPS). Develop and maintain good rapport & networking, coordination & follow-up.
  • Identify, update & arrange dialogue on local Indigenous right matters.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
  • Degree in Social Science/Sustainability/other related field from Universities or Institutions of Higher Learning recognized by the Company
  • Competent in stakeholder/community management/engagement
  • Certified Train-The-Trainer, HRDC
WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Knowledgeable in implementation of social & CSR related works
  • Knowledgeable and able to conduct public talks
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel & Power Point)
SKILLS:
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Familiar with stakeholder management and community engagement & consultation
  • Ability to understand and communicate relevant sustainability agendas adopted by the company
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles adopted in the Hydropower Sustainability Standard
LEADERSHIP SKILLS:
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork and able to work independently with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective relationship with colleagues, stakeholders and public; public relations and ability to communicate effectively with all levels

SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:
  • Perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the ISMS roles and responsibilities procedure
  • Perform all tasks in line with corporate Social Management Framework, Hydropower Sustainability Standard (HSS, and Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines
  • Promote the culture of monitoring and evaluation of initiatives among staff
