Airswift has been tasked by one of our major oil & gas clients to seek for Executive, Instrument to work within their facilities located in Malaysia for a permanent position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor, review and execute the implementation of maintenance and inspection plans for all instrumentation Equipment (ie Preventive, Corrective etc.) to ensure the compliance to the maintenance plan to maximize plan instrument availability and reliability and to minimize unscheduled plant shutdowns due to instrument issues, hence sustaining plant operation. Execute and develop quality control and quality assurance inspection plans for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of instrumentation and take responsibility for the fit for purpose assessment upon startup and sets the optimal inspection interval and extent to ensure it is follow the plan maintenance scope of work with zero rework and flawless startup.
• Analyze instrumentation integrity and performance by continuously monitoring and reviewing actual operating conditions versus design limit and operating envelope and provide timely feedback in proposing appropriate mitigation actions on critical plant instrumentation and maintenance activities which may have an impact on plant production while ensuring the instrumentation integrity is maintained. Prepare, review and update instrumentation failure and rectification report, weekly highlights, monthly activities to ensure timely submission of Mean Time Between Failure and Monthly Equipment Reliability Report.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, sourcing of information from vendors, analyze equipment or system problems raised by stakeholders to ensure the closing of issues as well as provide guidance and advise on equipment or system troubleshooting by issuing reports of complex and major troubleshooting which records methods of solving the problems with recommendations for future reference. Analyze and provide timely feedback propose appropriate mitigation actions on critical plant conditions and maintenance activities which have an impact on plant production.

• Degree in Electrical / Instrument Engineering from a recognized university
• At least 7 to 9 years experience
• Related experience in plant maintenance in Oil and Gas Plant environment
• Candidates must be willing to be based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
