Job Description


JOB PURPOSE

  • Responsible for the maintaining and implementation of IT related application system for both strategic and BAU enhancement initiatives within the Core Banking Application Section (ie FUSE Middleware, Deposit Module, Card System, IBG System, Bulk Payment system) by following System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and practices. This will include a proper definition and tracking of system requirements, deliverables, deadlines, priorities, roles, and responsibilities so that it can be executed properly and promptly.
  • Responsible on ensuring promptly technical support and assistance for relevant system within the Core Banking Application Section adhere to procedures under the IT Service Management (ITSM) which include incident, problem and change management processes.
  • Responsible to define and execute IT Technology and deliveries to minimize the number of changes to the systems hence improving the stability of the environment. This includes accountability on IT cost and IT vendor management towards a better cost saving and quality of services to the bank.
  • Responsible for planning, monitoring, execution and maintaining relationships with users and vendors to ensure continuous improvement and efficient IT operating process.
  • Responsible for compliancy to external and internal regulatory requirement.
QUALIFICATIONSMin Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related Information Technology discipline
Relevant Experience Required
  • 4-8 years with related experience in Core Banking system development, support, and configuration management in a digital & robust IT environment.
  • Familiar with Islamic banking concept and product lifecycle.
  • Familiar with overall core banking application systems such as deposit, Card System, and other business operation and supporting systems Unit (ie FUSE Middleware, IBG System, Bulk Payment system and others).
  • Implementation and support experience In Silverlake Core Banking Software is a mandatory job requirement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in system development life cycle
  • Demonstrated experience in software application implementation (Project and Change Request)
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing banking application support processes including application defect management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing service level agreement with application service providers
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Possess General Banking Knowledge
  • Familiar with Silverlake Banking Solution and its Silverlake Version 8 System
  • Working knowledge of AS400, RPG technology platform.
  • Working knowledge of application usage (SQL Statement) for DB2, MS SQL,Oracle database
  • Working knowledge of application technology (PHP, .NET)
  • Working knowledge in Application Database design and architecture
  • Working knowledge in Application System design and architecture
  • Working knowledge in RMIT framework and requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of system testing including SIT and UAT SDLC lifecycle.
  • Ability to implement customized software applications from functional specification with internal team and vendor.
  • Ability to communicate and function in a fast pace and change oriented settings.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa Melayu.
  • Ability to work under enormous pressure and duress
