In Malaysia, Bosch is active in four business sectors: Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing sites and research and development offices in Penang, producing automotive electronics, power tools and steering systems, and soon a fourth plant with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors. PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group\'s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch\'s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics\' fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Your new role:

Key user as local support to ensure the consistency and quality of master data for an IT tool (BlueYonder) which will plan the holistic semiconductor production network.

Support on further development of an IT solution for master data management together with the specialty departments, IT and external IT service providers.

What you\'ll do

• Responsible for ensuring the consistency and quality of master data
• Create, upload and maintain higher-level master data
• Analyze data errors in different tools and handover to responsible department for correction
• Optimization of data checking rules, based on identified errors
• Follow up data quality deviations with technical department and close monitoring of troubleshooting status
• Identify problem trends and corrective actions
• Trigger workflow to create master data for new products
• Create new data in the system based on approved workflow depending on the product creation process
• Involvement of the user departments to ensure continuous update and maintenance of parameters
• Close collaboration with the specialty and user departments as well as source department for master data, e.g. plants
• Further development and enhancement of workflows for data creation and correction in collaboration with user department
• Further tasks within the PJM1-SO project portfolio

• Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in the semiconductor industry; professional experience in the field of IT & databases preferred
• At least a bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong knowledge in MS Excel, database management and data processing
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Result orientation and attention to details
• Candidates must be a good team player with excellent communication skills within an international environment
• Possess a strong dedication to proactively drive new topics and improvements
• High assertiveness level, independent and accurate person
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
