Company : Sime Darby Auto Engineering Sdn. Bhd. Responsible for full set of accounts, financial reporting and taxation of the Company. Responsible for all financial reports and related schedules, ensuring all are prepared in accordance with the prevailing accounting standards, group policies and authorities, legal and tax compliances. To meet periodic, monthly, quarterly and year end reporting deadlines. 1. Financial accounting & reporting . To ensure the accounts is prepared and posted on timely basis and accurate . To ensure monthly, quarterly and annual closing schedules are prepared and cutoffs on timely basis. . To prepare financial analysis after closing on timely basis. . To review trial balance (by account codes) on monthly basis. . To review AR ageing and follow up on collection . To review AP ageing and GR/IR account to ensure all invoices are posted on timely basis and paid accordingly. . Continuously improvement in GL process flows and internal controls. . To produce reports on timely basis for the Management\'s decision making. 2. Taxation . To prepare GST submission, monthly tax provision and deferred tax computation as well as year-end tax computation. . To comply with Group Tax instruction issued from time to time, and prevailing regulatory. . To prepare tax returns / documents / prescribed forms relating to GST and corporate tax requirements 3. Others . To liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, government bodies and others on financial matters. . To provide support to end users on SAP - FI/CO - GL module, BPC reporting, GFA, etc. . To ensure all financial documents are properly labeled and filled (i.e. documents management) as per retention requirements . To prepare yearly management planning and budgeting. . Any tasks that may be assigned by Superior from time to time . To execute the General Duties of Employer under part IV Section 15 of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and Environmental Quality Act (EQA 1974) . Support any safety and health programs / activities to protect employees against harm etc and maintain safe working conditions.
