Closing Date: 28 March 2024KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensure payroll are processed accurately and timely and comply with applicable regulations and laws.
• Initiate monthly statutory (Tax, EPF, HRDF, SOCSO & EIS) payment timely via direct transfer through a bank payment system or web portal.
• Initiate monthly non-statutory (remittances) payment timely by submitting memo to Finance and ensure payment is made accordingly.
• Assist in preparing e-CP39 for Board of Director\'s monthly fee payment upon request from Finance.
• Maintain and update compensation information in HR system in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot basic payroll-related issues and address queries from employees and superiors e.g., time sheet.
• Conduct refresher training on system usage, particularly time sheet to users.
• Liaise with the statutory bodies or agencies when required.
• Monitoring of Fixed Term Contract e.g., renewal or expiry.
• Monitoring and analyzing overtime trends.
• Keep good track of all payroll and statutory reports.
• Preparing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as required.

• Keeping up to date with statutory and legal requirements.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Human Resources or equivalent with minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in performing payroll functions.
• Good knowledge of SLO and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel reporting and experience in using SAP is an advantage.
