This is a 6 Months Contract position in Group Technology & Operations and to work in a team to support the Merchant Payment team in supporting day-to-day operational function and to work closely with ARM, Merchant helpdesk, Merchant business and other channels for all tasks related to payments and rentals.

In addition, this role is to:

• Validating, coordinating and monitoring cases receives from Merchant helpdesk team relate to Merchant payments to ensure timely and accurate resolution for all issues/cases.
• Identify unsuccessful payment for manual posting, refund on retail, EPP, MOTO, OTSR and MyDebit transaction and send instruction to counterpart for processing.
• Handling late fees, rental fees and MDR waiver or reversal upon request from merchant for terminals.
• Check and promptly response to Merchant helpdesk, ARM, Merchant business and other channels on payment query.
• Identify the outstanding rental/deposit on merchant account for recovery based on the report and merchant settlement account for manual charge to merchant by Merchant settlement team.
• Extract payment instruction relate to Rentas & IBG for main/key merchant based on daily report for payment release to merchant.
• Daily reconciliation on key merchant daily statement transaction prior to forward to key merchant for their necessary action.
• Handling unbalance batches report relate to credit and debit card transaction for recovery on merchant settlement or cardholder and handling exception transactions for more than standard numbers of withhold days,
• Support in payment status checking pertaining to debit card transaction upon receive from SST team and provide supporting documents.
• Support the continued development and refinement of Payments & Merchants standard operating procedure (SOP) and metrics to drive continuous improvements in service, cost, and quality.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate with at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the financial industry with experience in merchant payment process.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.
• PC literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office Appliances.
• Strong analytical skill, good working attitude and able to work under pressure.
• Sense of urgency and can do attitude.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Damansara City.
