Job Description

:In line with the Group\'s vision of being a Sustainability leader in ASEAN, the Executive Officer, Climate Risk Management will be responsible for implementing climate risk management efforts at both the Group level (i.e. primarily at implementing the Group\'s climate risk management framework, and facilitating proper replication, customization, roll-out and implementation of the same in other countries) and the entity level (i.e. implementing the framework across CIMB Bank Berhad, CIMB Islamic Berhad, CIMB Investment Berhad covering Malaysia and international offices). He/she will support Lead of Climate Risk Management in the following areas:

• implement CIMB\'s regional strategies, initiatives and processes to assess, manage and monitor climate-related risks (e.g. transition and physical risks), as part of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management (\xe2\x80\x9cEWRM\xe2\x80\x9d) framework
• integrate sustainability and climate risks into Group Risk\'s frameworks, methodologies and decisions, strengthen accountability and maintain an effective second line of defense for sustainability and climate risks
• implement new initiatives and/or process improvements to ensure CIMB\'s group-wide compliance with the most up to date regulatory requirements & market standards relating to climate risk management
• implement upskilling initiatives among relevant teams across the Group jointly with Group Sustainability and Learning & Development
• Prepare presentations, reports and/or analysis for purposes of internal and external meetings, as well as for communication of CIMB\'s climate risk-related performance and progress to internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to clients, regulators and investors
