Obtain evidence/justification from supplier for itemized cost in order to justify final pricing.
Sources, negotiates and purchases materials and services that comply with specifications and requirement.
Conducts and obtain bids/ quotes from suppliers that meet the purchase requirements.
Prepare recommendation of award and reports.
Acquire quotation from contractors for the purpose of cost assessment, analysis and budgeting.
Actively utilize pricing and cost analysis techniques to assure that company is receiving the best value for the goods purchased and for continuous commodity optimization.
Drives corporate-wide compliance to the company's established policies on procurement, signature authority, business ethic, etc.
Upkeeps correspondences, purchase orders and documents in the department.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in any discipline.
A minimum of two years of relevant working experience is required.
Applicants should have knowledge in project management.
Experience in mechanical engineering or any engineering sector is preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate good communication skills and be able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
Strong negotiation skills are essential.
Applicants should possess good analytical skills.
