Job Responsibilities:

• To maintain, enforce & improve safety related matters with respect Department Occupational Safety & Health Malaysia Requirements.
• To maintain the ISO 45001 management system and liaise with relevant institutes on matters relating to OSHA requirements.
• To facilitate the implementation of safety & Health procedures according to ISO 45001 standard and to conduct safety audits.
• Identify, investigate and report on root causes for incidents & accidents and conduct risk assessment and facilitate training for workers with respect towards all safety issues.
• To promote, establish and implement the Health and Safety procedures and awareness among the workforce and facilitate the safety & health committee meeting minutes.
• Ensure production quality and safety standards are compliance to all legal requirements.
• To conduct safety inspection of the emergency equipment such as fire fighting equipment & first aid facilities.
• Ensure production quality and safety standard are compliance to all legal requirements.
• Responsible in the overall safety & health activities in the organisation in accordance to ISO 45001.
• To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning/disease which have occurred at the workplace.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Occupational, Safety and Health or relevant courses, with minimum 3.0 or 2nd class upper.
• Certificate in NIOSH with ISO45001 /OHSAS 18001 will be added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Malaysian OSH Management System, the standards and specifications
