The role required the incumbent to assist, support and updating safety and health program and improvement to ensure safety consciousness is achieved in the company.

Job Responsibilities: * To assist in the implementation of ISO45001 and 14001 management systems and liaise with relevant institutes on matters relating to SHEH requirements.

• To facilitate the monitoring and implementation of Safety & Health procedures according to ISO45001 and 14001 standard and to conduct safety audit and inspections.
• Act as corporate "Legal Officer" to identify, review and monitor periodically the overall HSE legal compliance register.
• Responsible to identify environmental aspect and impact and HIRARC.
• Work with stakeholders to identify, investigate and review on root causes for incidents and accidents and conduct risk assessment and facilitate training for workers with respect towards all safety issues.
• To promote, establish and implement the Safety and Health procedures and awareness among the workforce and facilitate the Safety and Health committee meeting minutes.
• To participate in SHE budget, required investment and analyses expenses preparation and execution annually.
• To develop, organize, support on the execution and implement the company wide SHE programs and activities at the place of work.
• To establish and implement the yearly plan and SHE long term action plan.
• Other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or related courses.
• Candidate with knowledge or experience in ISO45001/OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 highly preferred.
• The position is based in Sitiawan, Perak
