Our client is looking for an Executive, Supply Chain, to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with suppliers, traders, and customers across the globe, ensuring smooth shipment flow and top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

1) Monitor production status, follow up with suppliers, and issue weekly delay notifications.

2) Handle shipping documentation - Import Permits, Carrier Contract Codes - and upload to CargoWise.

3) Secure booking confirmations from suppliers and update shipment dates in the system.

4) Verify draft shipping documents, confirm SOB & final documents, and ensure timely receipt of originals.

5) Maintain accurate records in CargoWise: orders, shipments, quantities, and tolerance alerts.

6) Convert supplier documents to internal templates, quality-check, and share with customers.

7) Dispatch Bills of Lading, Health Certificates, andCOO/EUR/SADC originals to customers.

8) Alert trading teams about shipping delays or order discrepancies.

9) Support Finance with payment schedules tied to shipping timelines.

10) Track and trace shipments, updating stakeholders promptly.

11) Manage Shoprite orders via Bamboo Rose and ensure 100% booking/consol updates.

Requirements

1) Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, International Business, or related field.

2) Certification in Export-Import/International Business is an advantage.

3) 2-3 years' experience in supply chain, exports/imports, or shipping operations.

3) Well-versed in export and import processes, shipping documents, incoterms and retail sourcing.

4) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with CargoWise/Bamboo Rose is a plus.

5) Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

7) Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
