Job Description


  • Hold at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting and Finance / Economics or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant or equivalent (e.g., ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia / CPA US) are optional.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in tax compliance are preferred.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English and Malay is required.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and client service skills are essential.
ResponsibilitiesDimensionThis position reports to the division head and is responsible for supporting the performance and profitability of the Taxation Services Division.Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax computations for individual and corporate clients in compliance with the Income Tax Act 1967 and related regulations.
  • Assist in managing communication with tax authorities on compliance matters.
  • Handle client interactions effectively, addressing inquiries and concerns confidently.
  • Ensure the timely submission of Form CP204 and Form CP204A.
  • Monitor assignment completion and deadlines, proactively following up with clients.
  • Manage general tax correspondence promptly.
  • Proficiently use tax software for return preparation and processing.
  • Keep seniors and/or managers informed about the progress of tax assignments.
  • Organize workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Understand and meet performance expectations, demonstrating personal accountability.
  • Stay informed about developments in the field of tax compliance.
  • Commit to personal learning and development.
  • Focus on enhancing communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders, clients, and colleagues.
  • Possess strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in analytical, mathematical, and research abilities.
