The incumbent is to support the company\xe2\x80\x99s business by assessing risks in accordance to underwriting guidelines within the granted authority. The incumbent is also to provide basic training to underwriters, in ensuring that they are knowledge equipped and ready for underwriting risk assessment.
1. To review Takaful proposal by assessing personal profile, medical report and legal information. Approve and decline Takaful applicants based on risk analysis in accordance with company\xe2\x80\x99s underwriting and compliance guidelines
2. Supports underwriting operation in ensuring the department meets the agreed section\xe2\x80\x99s productivity and performance. To analyze the risk involved and make recommendation accordingly within the set turnaround time and service level.
3. Provides basic underwriting training to new underwriters ensuring that they are well equipped and ready for production. Also ensuring that training materials are up to date.
4. Ensures section complies with all regulatory and corporate requirements.
5. Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Superior from time to time.
