Ensure that all airport operational activities comply with MASB\'s Policies and Procedures, Civil Aviation Act 1969, Civil Aviation Regulations 1996 (CAR 1996), Airport Standards Directives (ASD), and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards and recommended practices (SARPs).
ESSENTIAL POSITION
Ensure that the airport operations comply with MASB?s Policies and Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Civil Aviation Act 1969, Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR 1996), Airport Standards Directives (ASD), and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards and recommended practices (SARPs).
Assume or undertake the administrative and operational control in absence of the Airport Manager.
Response and analyze all complaints, and submit necessary reports as required by HQ.
Ensure that the contract management of cleaning services, grass cutting, landscaping, pest control and disposal of garbage are monitored and enforced according to the contract agreement.
Monitor the competency of Operations Unit personnel.
Monitor maintenance programs to ensure that they comply with maintenance schedules and standards.
Promulgate information on aerodrome operational status such as temporary withdrawal of facilities, runway closure, work in progress, accident, incident and near miss.
Serve as technical operations advisor to the management in the formulation of policies, plans and procedures.
Attend meetings with government departments, airlines, aircraft operators, airport agencies and airport tenants to provide information on airport operations.
To monitor all services provided by third parties meet the required standards level.
Resolve issues, complaints and matters extracted from all meetings at airport i.e. Facilitation Meeting; Passengers Handling and Coordination Meeting (PHCM), Airside Safety Committee Meeting, Airport Customer Satisfaction Performance Program (ACSPP) Meeting, Runway safety Team (RST) Meeting, Wildlife Hazard Management Plan (WHMP) Meeting, etc.
Coordinate and facilitate the airport operations activities during emergency or crisis.
Coordinate and facilitate passengers, aircraft and cargo movements.
To obtain and maintain the certification process such as Aerodrome Certification, Safety Management and QMS
To obtain approval for VVIP/VIP/CIP bookings and movements from Airport Manager.
Monitor and review to the management such as Operations Information System (OIS) and FLIRT.
Carry out directives from the Airport Manager.
