About this role
Do you like to develop high performance and sustainable Facade designs? When we design fa\xc3\xa7ades our aim is to reduce energy consumption and create a comfortable, healthy, secure and safe environment, while at the same time meeting the architectural and aesthetic requirements of the project. Arup designs and engineers building envelopes that offer the required energy performance and produce a great experience for occupants, visitors and tenants alike.
What will I do?

• Involved in detailed design, calculations and drawings as well as modelling of engineering behavior.
• Supervise testing and construction (fabrication, installation, repair) of fa\xc3\xa7ade systems
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients and design disciplines to establish their needs.
• Produce/Review technical submissions, reports and documents for compliance with design intent.
• Use and develop digital tools to enhance quality and efficiency of fa\xc3\xa7ade design

What will I bring?

• Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture or Science or similar area
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in the field of fa\xc3\xa7ade engineering and design
• Proficient with engineering software packages (for Engineer), AutoCAD and 3D modelling software such as Revit & Rhino (for Designer). Knowledge on programming software will be an advantage.
• Ability to design and deliver solutions on projects and on site
• Ability to conduct and coordinate site inspection
