Lattice is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lab Engineer to manage the lab, facilities and logistics. This position would be responsible for ensuring the continuous safe and conducive operations of the office facilities, inclusive of the electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural infrastructure.He/She will attend to basic procurement, trouble-shooting, repairs or setups, while supervising vendors on major maintenance, repairs or fit-out activities.Implement & monitor Site Facilites Maintenance ProgramWill act as site Lead for Global EHS program, including coordination with local government agencies in securing permits & prepares required reports.This position would be responsible for managing the lab environment for orderliness, allocation of resources and handling of potentially hazardous materials, as well as coordinating the equipment calibration.He/She would also manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments, inclusive of import duties, permit applications and tracking. He/She must be able to respond to facilities emergencies successfully, while helping to ensure the safety of the employees.Assist with special projects & other duties as assigned.Candidate can expect toEngage with stakeholders and vendors to ensure the good conditions of the premises and productive environment of the employeesResolve all defects and maintenance objectives in a timely and effective mannerLearn new skills and adapt to changes, where applicableDrive cross-functional issue resolution per requirementsProvide regular communication to stakeholders to ensure expectations, updates and decisions are alignedAbility to identify & drive improvement and efficiencyCandidate profile:Relevant diploma and/or professional certification (Mechanical or Electrical) with over 5 years of experience in lab or facilities managementAbility to communicate effectivelyStrong teamwork and organizational skillsAccountable, responsive, resourceful and self-drivenExperienced in managing engineering labs and office facilities, inclusive of electricals, lab benches, compressed air infrastructure, air-conditioning systems and basic plumbingExperienced in managing office infrastructure, maintenance and fit-out vendors.Knowledge/experience in occupational safety and health regulations would be an added advantageKnowledge/experience in basic logistics woud be a plusProject management skills and computer literate
