The Industry Facility Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks to support the smooth operation of the plant or industrial facility. This includes inspections, repairs, and upkeep of building systems such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and utility systems.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on facility systems and industrial utilities (e.g., compressed air, chilled water, exhaust, lighting).
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to reduce downtime.
Support installation, relocation, and removal of industrial equipment and utility lines.
Respond to facility-related service requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
Perform minor construction or repair work including painting, patching, carpentry, and fixture replacement.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) and report anomalies.
Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in CMMS.
Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures in line with OSHA/DOSH or local regulations.
Assist in maintaining clean and organized workspaces, including mechanical and utility rooms.
Coordinate with external service providers when needed for specialized repairs or projects.
