Job Description

1.Production Management:

Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of palates.

Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.

Monitor production output, quality standards, and compliance with production specifications.

2. Team Leadership:

Lead and manage a team of production supervisors and line workers.

Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure staff perform their duties effectively and adhere to safety protocols.

Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and employee development.

Lead, coach and support delivery of root cause analyses across the entire supply chain.

3. Quality Assurance:

Implement quality control measures to maintain product quality and consistency.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

Establish and maintain a calibration system covering instruments across the entire site.

4. Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures.

Ensure the machinery and equipment meets both local regulations and RAW Energy safety, reliability, environmental and operational targets.

Conduct safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness among factory staff.

Investigate and address any safety incidents or near misses in a timely manner.

5. Engineering

During operations lead and execute projects, with a focus on efficiently utilizing available resources.

During operations, responsible to propose and manage the factory capital budget.

Oversee mechanical, civil, structural and electrical projects including the overall management the of projects with contractors, consultants, and other engineers to keep the projects structurally sound and on track.

6. Maintenance

Establish and manage a preventive maintenance system covering all elements of the farm, processing and administrative compound.

Ensure all equipment and systems across the site are maintained and fully operational without unplanned disruptions.

Meet KPI targets for maintenance performance and cost

Prepare and present monthly/weekly report to the management.

Create and develop a team of maintenance technicians and a network of contractors that will deliver maintenance activities across the site.

Propose and manage maintenance budget for the site

Troubleshoot and repair facilities, through the application of relevant engineering methods, procedures, and criteria. Daily

7. Inventory Management:

Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products to support production needs.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply of materials and efficient inventory management practices.

8. Continuous Improvement:

Provide engineering support in identifying operational improvements across all areas of the supply chain. Improvements include cost, safety, quality , environmental. Support equipment and process modifications required to deliver these improvements

Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Analyse production data and performance metrics to drive operational improvements.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
