This job description defines the minimum expectation of Factory Manager on his/her responsibility and expected knowledge

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for overall plant management effectiveness

Plan, co-ordinate and direct various functional teams to achieve operating objectives set by the company

Plan and monitor operating budgets with a view to ensure optimization of resources and achieve quality, output and manufacturing standards

Ensure full compliance of statutory requirements at all times

Initiate and implement continuous improvement plans and minimize wastages

Create and maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Develop and plan for plant automation

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MBA/Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Chemistry, Polymer Technology/Science or equivalent with at least 12 year(s) of relevant working experience.

Possess strong leadership, communication, conceptualized, innovative and organizational skills and result-oriented.

Familiar with quality management system in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in lean manufacturing would be an added advantage.

Excellent leadership and able to drive improvement projects of manufacturing plants Applicants must be willing to work in Klang.

Strong attention to details and follow-through skills.

Good interpersonal skills and have positive problem-solving approach.

Good decision maker, analytical and logical thinking person.

Able to multi-task.

Good oral and written communication skills in English.
