• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Previous experience in Muslimah or modest fashion is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software and sketching.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and trend awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create unique and on-trend fashion concepts for Muslimah women's clothing.
• Develop cohesive collections of modest and stylish clothing, including abayas, hijabs, dresses, blouse, shirts, pants, skirts and etc.
• Conduct research on current fashion trends, historical references, cultural influences, and emerging design techniques to inspire and inform your textile designs.
• Create intricate patterns, motifs, and repeats suitable for various fabric types and applications.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and sample makers to produce prototype samples of your designs, ensuring accuracy in pattern scaling, color reproduction, and fabric quality
• Communicate effectively with clients, design teams, and product developers to understand project requirements, address feedback, and refine designs to meet specific needs and deadlines.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on finished textile products to ensure that designs are accurately reproduced, colors are consistent, and fabric performance meets industry standards.
• Maintain detailed records of design concepts, development processes, and project timelines.
• Prepare professional presentations and design portfolios to showcase your work to clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
• Stay updated with fashion trends and source high-quality fabrics and materials.
• Stay updated with social media trends such as TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and more.
• Collaborate with teams for sample reviews, fittings, and production.
• Ensure product quality and align designs with customer preferences.
• Incorporate cultural influences into designs and represent the brand's vision.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required by management.
