\xe2\x80\xa2 Food Counter attendants (Service) and food preparers (kitchen) take customer orders, accept payment and serve at food counters. \xe2\x80\xa2 They may also prepare, heat and finish cooking simple food items. As a food counter attendant / food preparer, your duties can include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Use a POS (Point Soft) to punch in staff orders, accept payment and give change (for cash). \xe2\x80\xa2 Answer staff questions about menu items and serve them at counters. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing food such as sandwiches etc. and beverages, including coffee-type drinks. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stock refrigerators, cupboards and counters. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep records of the quantities of food used. \xe2\x80\xa2 Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including, work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assisting cleaners to clear and clean tables, trays and chairs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reset and arrange tables before and after meal period. \xe2\x80\xa2 Refill condiments and other supplies at areas. \xe2\x80\xa2 Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and storage areas. \xe2\x80\xa2 Help to wash, peel and prepare basic food items. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with Kitchen and Cleaners: usually clear tables, clean kitchen areas and wash dishes and help to prepare or serve food and beverages. \xe2\x80\xa2 Arrive to work at scheduled time, perform services to established standards and insure the client\xe2\x80\x99s facility is locked and secured when you finish and leave. \xe2\x80\xa2 Complete paperwork as requested. \xe2\x80\xa2 Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting.
