Job Summary:

The F&B Team Leader (Banquet) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating banquet operations to ensure high standards of service, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising banquet staff, managing event setups, and ensuring that all functions are executed smoothly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and coordinate the banquet team during functions and events. Ensure all banquet setup, service, and breakdown procedures are carried out according to hotel standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen, sales, and event teams to ensure guest expectations are met. Assist with training and development of banquet staff to maintain high service standards. Monitor staff performance and ensure proper grooming and conduct. Address guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations. Maintain proper inventory of banquet supplies and request replenishments as needed. Conduct pre-function briefings with staff to ensure clarity of event details. Support the Banquet Manager in planning staff schedules and assignments.

Requirements:

Proven experience in banquet or F&B service, preferably in a hotel setting. Previous supervisory or team leader experience is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Education & Experience:

Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in banquet operations.

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
