2. Key Responsibilities
Daily Cleaning Tasks
Sweep, mop, and wipe floors in common areas, corridors, rooms, and toilets.
Clean and disinfect toilets, bathrooms, and sinks.
Remove rubbish and dispose of waste at designated areas.
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Ensure cleanliness of staircases, entryways and surrounding areas.
Change bedsheets, pillow covers, and blankets according to schedule.
Assist in washing bedsheets & covers (laundry self-service or as instructed).
Ensure cleanliness and tidy arrangement of rooms and shared spaces.
Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are well-kept and returned after use.
Monitor cleanliness-related stock (detergent, mop head, gloves) and request replenishment when needed.
Perform sanitising and disinfection as per hygiene procedures.
Follow safety guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals.
Follow daily work schedule and cleaning checklist.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, and respectful behavior.
Comply with hostel rules and company policies at all times.
