In this team, you will learn a lot from coworking with internal team during addressing semiconductor process monitoring & yield improvement challenges. The Applications team works with the product marketing team, the account team, and the sales development team to grow our business and ensure the success of our customers. Location: Malaysia Penang Responsibilities: Conduct customer support and training and translate customer needs into workable solutions. Guide the customer in writing production recipes and qualification experiments to drive the production use of TFS's tools. Develop new applications and/or maintain existing applications to automate small and wafer dual beam microscope functionality for semiconductor customers. Support the market division by assisting with the Customer Acceptance Tests (CAT), and initiation/stabilization phases of tool installs at customer sites. Ensure efficient utilization of appropriate products, and services within the customers' manufacturing processes and applications. Cultivating positive customer relationships and acting as a high-level customer interface for specific instrument/applications issues, explaining technology details, giving in-depth technical presentations, and assisting in applications development. Provide continuous feedback to the vertical marketing team on application solutions in specific industry area, understanding the stories behind customers' requirement Support product groups on system performance, features, and potential problems while collaborating with marketing/development groups on future product developments. Experience / Other Requirements: Possessing 3 or more years' experience in a relevant commercial/industrial environment. Knowledge and recent hands-on experience with FIB/SEM system are preferred. Knowledge of sophisticated technology diagnostics as well as fault finding techniques, operational optimization, and experience of metrology equipment in semiconductor industry will be a plus. Excellent problem-solving, clear interpersonal skills, both well written and presenting skills for a diverse audience is essential to success in this role. Excellent customer interfacing skills. Proven record to get along with X-functional and X-cultural teams. Ability to travel both domestically internationally up to 25%. Educational Qualification: Typically requires bachelor's degree, higher is preferred, in Materials/Chemistry Science, or Engineering with academic background demonstrating expertise in critical microscopy application areas is helpful.
