JOB SUMMARY

To provide the necessary technical support required to develop the market, establish the business and ensure continuous operations of products in the market. The support provided shall include both technical support to the sales team and to the existing users. The end-target is to ensure customer satisfaction with regards to the performance of the product and services provided. The new product portfolio consists of automated bacteria monitoring instruments for the water industry.

ROLE QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Biology, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or any field related to water processes.
• 1-2 years experience preferably in the water treatment industry or monitoring instrument business. Experience facing customers or servicing industrial products will be an advantage. Fresh graduates with relevant degree will be considered.
• Must have technical hands-on experience and willing to learn on new products.
• Strong organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Very good listening, communication, and presentation skills.
• Adaptable to rapidly changing situations.
• Committed to provide total customer satisfaction with absolute professionalism.
• Positive working attitude and mindset, self-motivated & excellent teamwork spirit.
• Willing to take challenges and being customer focused and task oriented.
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel extensively.

Tanggungjawab

• Excellent understanding of technology and capabilities of our solutions. Able to demonstrate value to customers. Good understanding of the water industry treatment challenges.
• Support and train customers during the evaluation and implementation process.
• Execute product trials at customer\'s site which includes identifying potential application, installation, commissioning, product performance monitoring and generating progress and final reports.
• Assist and support our customers with application issues and questions.
• Provide and lead technical training of end-users.
• Develop solid relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide personalised product/scientific presentations.
• Support existing customers with additional training and application assistance as needed.
• Lead product demonstrations and presentations that show potential and existing customers the power and utility of each product and how IT relates for their research.
• Provide feedback from customers and act as customer advocate.
• Work cross functionally with sales to support the implementation process.
• Proactively provide enhancements and feedback for development and optimization of applications, software, and hardware.
• Document site activities through RM (Sales Force) .
• Customer complaint handling and customer interactions to ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Assist with or write documentation to enhance application and technical bulletins, user guides, procedures and technical manuals involving software or applications.
• Establish an After Sales Programme including service contracts, routine inspection visits, service schedule etc.
• Key contact person with principal, in relation to technical aspects, including customer complaint, potential improvement plans, spare parts requirement, repair works etc.
• Ensuring availability of necessary equipment/ instrument spare parts and consumable items required to carry out service/maintenance works.
• Assist in obtaining necessary product approval from government agencies and/or private entities where required.
• Establish and maintain complete and proper documents including equipment operations manual, maintenance manual, service records and other relevant documents.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good presentation & interpersonal skills.
• Project management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office application.
