POSITION: FIELD MECHANICAL ENGINEER
s:
Perform on-site installation, commissioning, testing, and servicing of mechanical equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control-related issues to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspection to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Provide on-site technical support to clients, including diagnosing problems and recommending corrective actions.
Work closely with internal technicians and external vendors to resolve technical issues within the required timeframe.
Assist in equipment upgrades, modifications, and performance improvement activities.
Communicate effectively with customers (local and foreign) and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
Support project teams in mechanical installation, alignment, calibration, and system integration tasks.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of working experience in mechanical, field service, or equipment maintenance roles.
Good knowledge of hydraulic systems and ability to perform hydraulic troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of PLC and control systems (equipment is pre-loaded with PLC; no programming/design required).
Basic electrical knowledge for diagnosing general electrical issues.
Able to work in a mixture of local and foreigner work environment (multiracial, multilingual teams).
Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving abilities.
