A Day in the Life The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales revenue and market share targets by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic Patient Monitoring and Respiratory Intervention products. This role will be expected to service existing customer and develop new business to achieve targeted business growth, assist in the development and building up of the competence of the sales force with regards to both product knowledge and selling skills, in order to better penetrate the market, and enhance customer experience. Key Accountabilities: Exceeding AOP of the assigned division and territory. Implement business plans and provide field reports to the Business Manager. Mentoring the team in: Excellence in sales coaching, target setting, and sales coverage Competence in product knowledge Development and implementation of sales and call plans for specific territories Work with: Medtronic supply chain management and distributors on the end-to-end customer solution and experience. Manage the Monthly Sales Forecast and order proposal, rationale, and management processes. Ensure accurate usage is tracked, inventory is maintained and replenished, and billing is completed accurately. Finance to manage accounts receivables. Marketing teams to ensure appropriate pricing is maintained, marketing and market development activities are aligned with and executed, the portfolio is maximized, and market share is increased. Must Have Bachelor degree in Medical/Biomedical/Science or Business Management Minimum five (5) years of direct sales experience with at least three (3) years of sales experience in medical devices or related industry Your Profile: Field sales and distributor management experience preferred Medical device and/or pharmaceutical background preferred Expert understanding of internal workings of hospitals labs/ theatres / departments / key influencers and tender process The ability to manage through influence to drive positive outcomes Provide leadership thorough effective communication, vision, active coaching and development of people Strong strategic focus and ability to identify business priorities
