Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The role require travelling & work outside of Malaysia within Asian Region, offshore etc. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Business based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for: \xe2\x80\xa2 Performing medium to high complex service tasks like installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits, repair independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgrades and retrofit, end of life service etc). \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation. Creating and maintaining a good relationship with customers and understanding their needs. Identifying new sales opportunities and taking influence in convincing the client for the complete service portfolio. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinating, preparing and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparing all documents and reporting to be signed by the customer representative. Reporting work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying potential equipment failures and proactive corrective actions. Troubleshooting complex equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discusses them with management for changes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that HSE practices are of high standard. Working to eliminate unsafe practices and incidents. Consistently applies functional processes considering links to other teams.Qualifications for the role
