Job Title: ELV Technician (Field Service)

Department: Engineering

Location: Johor

Job Type: Full time

Employment Status: Contract

Overview

ELV technicians must have a strong understanding of electrical principles and be able to work with a variety of tools and equipment. They must also be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. ELV technicians must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must also be able to follow safety procedures and be able to work in a variety of environments, including heights, confined spaces, and hazardous materials.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Regular site inspection to ensure the ELV & MEP system are in order
• Install and maintain security systems, fire alarm systems, audio/visual systems, and telecommunications systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Work with a variety of tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Work in a variety of environments, including heights, confined spaces, and hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some experience in the electrical trades
• Certification from a recognized trade organization
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow safety procedures
