Job Description


As an Finance and Accounts Executive, your primary responsibility is to manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with resolving any discrepancies. Additionally, you will be responsible for verifying and processing accounts payable invoices and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Management: Maintain and update accounts receivable data in the system (SQL). Reconcile the sales coming in from Soonic Boom and 2C2P. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or issues in collaboration with internal teams. Assist in preparing and analysing the AR Aging report. Accounts Payable Processing: Verify and review invoices and related documents for accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper approval and processing of payments. Maintain appropriate records and documentation for review and reference. Coordinate with vendors or suppliers to resolve any payment-related queries or issues. Timely Accounting Entries: Ensure that all required accounting entries, including revenue recognition and expense accruals, are performed accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards. Stay updated on changes in relevant regulations and accounting practices. Implement internal controls and processes to mitigate risks and maintain data integrity. Issue Identification and Analysis: Identify potential issues or risks related to accounts receivable and payable processes. Analyse data and financial information to provide insights and recommendations to management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other accounting or administrative tasks assigned from time to time to support the finance and administrative functions. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting & Finance, candidates with professional qualification ie. ACCA, CIMA are encouraged to apply Minimum 2 years of working experience in similar capacity Good written and verbal communication skills Detailed oriented Good analytical and problem solving skills Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions Entrepreneurship skills Resilient, independent, fast learner Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
