Job Description


Company Background: A US MNC - manufacturer of scientific instruments Location: Bayan Lepas Position: Finance Assistant Tenure: Contract Responsibilities: Update standard costs, ensure Material Masters, Info records, BOM and routing setups up-to-date and appropriate . Assist in Purchase Requisition approval in accordance to Approving Matrix and Budget . Perform settlement run in SAP for cost settlement . Assist to review and prepare the listing of excess and obsolete inventory in quarterly basis . Assist in the Three-way matching for processing a vendor invoice to ensure that a payment is complete and accurate between Factory and Processing Team. Work with Purchasing Team and Receiving Team to ensure full sets of documents recorded (Invoice, DO, PO, PR) for payment processing . Assist in verifying the Concur Expense Report of Factory Employees . KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Strong analytical and accounting skills . Thorough knowledge in product costing, variance analysis, inventory reconciliation and inventory count . Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word Power Point) and SAP . Excellent knowledge of Advance Excel - Pivot Table Macro Power Query will added advantage. Able to gather, analyse and draw practical conclusions from data, as well as communicate data findings and influence key stakeholders. Able to build internal networks and form relationships across all levels of the organization. Positive attitude at work
