DESCRIPTIONCircular Commerce is on a mission to empower people in developing markets via access to affordable and quality technology.Despite a decade of e-commerce in South-East Asia, 80% of electronics is still sold offline. E-Commerce in SEA is very complex with marketplaces, social, live, messengers and brand.com all being important parts of the mix. Offline shops remain a preferred destination with shopping malls offering air condition, convenience and many other entertainment options.Circular Commerce is enabling brands to leverage on digital channels to curate a loyal audience and fulfil their needs via a full omni-channel presence - online and offline.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the finance team, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
  • Business Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and financial models, to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Coordinate the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate company performance, profitability, and efficiency, and provide actionable insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Compliance: Navigate complex landscape of financial regulations and standards across geographies, ensuring the organization remains steadfastly compliant.
  • Inventory Optimisation: Oversee inventory levels, analyze turnover ratios, and implement strategies to optimize inventory management practices; collaborating across departments to unlock new levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a finance management role, including team and people management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels to drive outcomes.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices; experience with consolidation finances across entities / geographies preferred
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
