We are currently looking for a Finance Executive to join our team. As a Finance Executive specialising in Project Finance, you will play a vital role in managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This involves validating supplier invoices, overseeing payment processing, resolving issues, and addressing supplier queries. On the Accounts Receivable side, you\'ll be responsible for generating and processing customer invoices, managing adjustments, handling incoming payments, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Operating under limited supervision, you will apply established standards to routine tasks, exercising independent judgment within defined practices and utilizing intermediate-level subject matter knowledge to solve moderately complex problems.

The Finance Executive is responsible for:

  • Perform supplier invoice processing and review activities.
  • Prepare payment instructions (with all relevant supporting) and obtaining approval from bank authorized signatories based on Levels of Authority (LOA)
  • Day to day activities on finance matters with Joint venture (JV) partner
  • Assist with month end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable policies and procedures and proactively address non-compliance.
  • Ensure all activities are in adherence to the company\xe2\x80\x99s policy and are processed in Oracle R12 in an accurate and timely manner
  • Identify and report continuous improvement initiatives in relation to the above
  • Develop and maintain applicable documentation and supporting procedures, and keep these up to date
  • Any ad-hoc tasks from management
Requirements for this role:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Proficient in applying established standards to routine assignments.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt, making this role suitable for entry-level candidates and fresh graduates.
