In a nut shell: The Finance Executive is responsible for providing support or assistance for our Senior Finance Executive on assigned finance tasks. He/She is required to manage his/her tasks properly to ensure that all work is completed before the due date provided. What you\'ll do: Facilitate and prepare full set accounts: Data entry and preparation of all documentation relating to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cashbook and General Ledger Perform daily accounting operations : prepare invoices, debit/credit notes, purchase orders, statement of accounts, bank reconciliation, assign job number, quotation number, vendor registration and etc Review and highlight abnormalities of customers\' and suppliers\' quotation to Senior Finance Executive. Monitor billings, jobs, departmental margins and supplier costs. Manage receivables invoicing & collection. Prepare payment to supplier and monthly operating expenses for Corporate Manager Prepare Directors\' claim by monthly basis and check staff claim Maintain proper and accurate accounts records and filings Liaise with other departments on finance and accounts related matters. Participate in regular Work in Progress (WIPs) and meetings, with key stakeholders as the subject matter expert Responsible on day-to-day finance and account tasks assigned Providing support or assistant for external audit, tax reporting and submission of government returns Any other duties as and when required by the superior What you\'ll need: The ideal candidate should have, at minimum, a Diploma in finance or accounting Strong learning attitude - preference will be given to candidates who are pursuing Professional Studies. Proficiency in English (Spoken and Writing) Other languages such as Mandarin and Malay will be good bonuses Good communication, organizational skills and meticulousness Excellent knowledge and practical experience in MS Office are preferable. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and is able to meet deadlines.
