Job Title Finance Executive SummaryWhat you will be doing:
Manage legal entities general ledger accounts, prepare and post journal entries for accruals and adjustments/variances
Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, flux analysis, quarterly and annual financial reporting
Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders (AR, AP, FP&A and business units) to ensure timeliness and accurate financial closing including intercompany transactions
Accurate maintenance of fixed asset registers
Generate and distribute reports to Head of Business
Prepare Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations
Prepare Government Statistic Report
Ensure financial reporting comply with standard operating procedures, financial policies and internal control systems.
Coordinate and liaise with external parties - auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
Assist to co-ordinate the audit for annual accounts ; drafting of financial statements to ensure it is \xe2\x80\x9cclean\xe2\x80\x9d and represent a true & fair view for statutory audit
Support Annual Operating Planning process
Support and maintain SOX process throughout the organization, ensuring SOX compliance and take remediation actions in a timely manner
Drive change management for efficiencies in process within Finance organization and support process improvements initiatives and system enhancements
Undertake other projects/assignments and ad-hoc tasks/duties as assigned
You are:
Degree in Finance and Accountancy / Chartered Accountant or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting in a commercial environment
Sound knowledge in the application of financial reporting standard (\xe2\x80\x9cFRS\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cUS\xe2\x80\x9d GAAP)
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
Must have strong understanding of record to report process and operational experience
Experience in dealing with audits including internal and external financial and regulatory audits.
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems/business enterprise system
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to effectively and positively interact cross-functional. Must have the ability to lead in meetings, drive discussions and well versed on activities and issues within business processes
