Deploying, supporting, and enhancing our Finance systems mainly based on the SAP Hana software suite.
As a Region Data Steward on the planning, control, and governance of finance-related data for the APAC region.
Understand the pain points of the stakeholders and plan projects/ changes to mitigate them.
Liaise with Functional PMOs, IT Finance, and other global teams to analyze and investigate data, resolve issues and queries related to the Financial Odyssey and beyond financials topics promptly.
Analysis of systems should include identification of functionality gaps in the system and/or process.
Support in formulating project plans including requirements gathering, testing, and implementation.
Manage deliverables by agreeing on dates and reporting progress to senior management.
Identify project issues and close through resolution.
Contribute to process re-engineering and process improvement where applicable.
Train new employees about the Finance Transformation core module, existing and new systems.
Work in a global team environment - sharing ideas and working collaboratively.
Any Adhoc requests assigned by management.
Requirements:
Passionate about Data and aware of what it can enable for our finance business users.
Pro-active, interested in and able to find solutions, able to work within a team.
Ability to work independently as well as in a (virtual) team environment.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Quality focus, willingness to stay on top of up-to-date developments.
Excellent knowledge of information technology and data manipulation tools (Excel, Access, SQL, etc).
Fluent English is essential for this role, any other language skills are welcome.
A solid background in SAP solutions and are familiar with Finance and Controlling processes and solutions.
At least 2 years of experience in SAP \xe2\x80\x93 preferably SAP S4/HANA.
Completed a Bachelor\'s or Master studies in Finance.
Excellent communication skills and a driven team player.
Preferable with Freight forwarding and logistic knowledge.
