In KONE to support the business performance excellence, KONE Shared Services has joined forces with finance operations to form the new KONE Business Services (KBS), a one stop shop for all business services. KBS will help in driving better efficiency, improving data quality, and providing seamless end to end process expertise. KBS will actively partner with the business lines and functions to provide end to end process governance, work toward joint targets with business.
We execute transactions that are part of KONE Operations or Financial processes. Ensuring process compliance and controls are applied to each transaction.

Why this role?

The KBS Operations Team Lead reports to an KBS Finance Manager and he / she is responsible to coordinate to achieve the agreed service levels in delivering the transactions, analysis and reports requested by the unit. Maintains a strong working relationship with the relevant stakeholders in the unit through pro-active identification and resolution of issues. Develops and leads a team of Processing Agents to organize the service delivery. Supports the implementation of service improvement initiatives related to unit satisfaction, KBS Service levels and process harmonization. In addition: -
Team Lead - Coordinates the KBS team and handles transaction-level communication with the unit. Reports to Operation Manager.

What will you be doing?

  • Complex processing activities

  • Following up specific customer issues/requests with the country front liners

  • Fulfill responsibilities of Processing Executives

  • Make sure Customer & Vendor balances are accurate and up to date

  • Act as a super user on process and/or application level within the team

  • Support process improvements and harmonization activities

  • Participation in team meetings, process analysis and improvement actions.

  • Perform other tasks as allocated by Operation Manager and other KBS processes.

  • Team coordination in line with country-specific needs and KBS performance standards

  • User Access & Authorization management for KBS team and unit

  • Manage system support requests for unit and country team

  • Plan, track, and report attendance within team (including absence reporting, holiday planning and overtime requirements)

  • Communication with local front officers & local department manager to report issues and their resolution progress.

  • Initiate & implement process improvements, standardization, and harmonization activities

  • Work in close cooperation with the Transition Manager, during transitions

  • Responsible to make sure process KPI\xe2\x80\x99s are met with high quality standards

  • Build professional working relationship and communicate on regular basis with other teams working for the same country to cover cross-functional dependencies

  • Other adequate tasks as allocated by Operation Manager

  • HR tasks:

  • Track and report attendance of the team

  • Proposes holidays within the team to Operation Manager

  • Proposes overtime requirements within the team to Operation Manager


Are you the one?

  • Excellent in communication

  • Minimum Degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant background

  • 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in SAP

  • People manager and leadership ability

  • Possesses a service mindset to collaborate and partner with our stakeholders

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to work on Malaysian Public Holidays
